GNX

I cofounded GNX in 2018. We give enterprises internet and private connectivity in 190+ countries under one contract, one invoice and one point of contact.

Every company with offices, plants or warehouses in many countries runs into the same wall. SDWAN made the overlay easy to roll out, but someone still has to buy an internet line at each site: from a local ISP, in a local language, on a local contract, with a local support desk. Multiply that by 50 or 500 sites and connectivity becomes a full time procurement project before a single packet flows.

GNX exists to remove that wall.

What GNX does

GNX is an ISP aggregator. We do not own fiber or last mile infrastructure. Instead we work with 3,000+ ISPs worldwide, select the best local provider for each site, and deliver the result as one service: one contract, one invoice, one point of contact, with our 24/7 NOC behind it.

That covers 3 kinds of connectivity:

  • Global Internet Access: broadband, dedicated internet access, LEO satellite and LTE/5G for branches anywhere.
  • Point to point: private, low latency connections between 2 sites.
  • Cloud Fabric: direct interconnects into AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and other providers.

Our customers are large enterprises in sectors like manufacturing, pharma, logistics and retail, plus managed service providers, system integrators and carriers who want a global underlay without building one. If you run SDWAN or SASE, GNX provides the underlay it runs on. The overlay stays your choice.

GNX+

My team builds GNX+, the platform underneath all of this, and it comes included with every GNX service. Enter a list of site addresses and requirements and you get instant quotes from competing ISPs. From there you order in the same flow, follow delivery per site, see monitoring linked to our NOC, raise tickets, and manage changes over the full life of each service. Teams that live in their own procurement tools or ERP connect through our API and eBonding instead.

You can try the quoting yourself at gnx.plus/demo.

My role

As CTO I own the technical side of GNX: the platform, the data behind every quote, the engineering team, and how we use automation to take the manual work out of buying and running connectivity. A lot of what I write on this site comes straight from that work, from scoring ISPs on real performance data to keeping a distributed engineering team moving fast.
